Infrastructure Alternatives has operated and maintained the City of Antigo, Wisconsin’s water and wastewater treatment facilities since 2002.
The 1.2 MGD Springbrook Wastewater Treatment Plant is an activated sludge facility, with tertiary sand filtration and UV disinfection to meet stringent NPDES permit limitations.
IAI personnel utilize a computerized preventative maintenance scheduling system and provide hands-on maintenance services. Sludge is land applied by IAI personnel using equipment owned by the City. IAI has performed several plant improvement projects at the wastewater plant, including a complete rehabilitation of the tertiary filters.
Infrastructure Alternatives also provides operations and maintenance of the City’s drinking water treatment plant, which draws water from groundwater wells and utilizes lime softening, filtration and chlorine disinfection treatment processes.
