A former wood-treating facility had previously been located on the project site; each of two ponds contained a layer of thick, black oily sludge. Infrastructure Alternatives hydraulically dredged about 18,000 cubic yards of industrial process biosolids from two wastewater treatment lagoons, utilizing a cable-driven 8 inch diameter auger dredge.
