Infrastructure Alternatives is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to head the human resources function for our 90-person firm. We are a leading provider of engineering and operations services for the water utilities of over 20 municipalities in Michigan and Wisconsin. A second division provides technical services for contaminated sediment remediation projects across the country.
As part of the management team, this position will be responsible for the entire human resources function including recruiting, on-boarding, benefits plan design and administration, 401k plan administration, employee relations, HRIS management, payroll administration, policy development and collaborating with senior management on organizational matters.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum 7 years of general human resources experience, and be self-directed individuals, skilled in relying on judgment and experience to attain objectives. They will have a working knowledge of employment and benefit law, excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal), and advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and payroll processing software. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position.
