Seeking a Project Manager for the Billings Township Wastewater Treatment Plant, near Gladwin, Michigan. This position will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to run their own facility, in a hands-on capacity.
Tasks include mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance, sample collection and analysis, process control, record maintenance, general housekeeping, and grounds maintenance.
A Michigan Class C wastewater license is required to manage this facility, but Infrastructure Alternatives will consider training in an operator with a Michigan Class D certification. Qualified candidates must be able to complete physically demanding work, requiring both indoor and outdoor work, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Successful candidates will have experience that enables them to work independently, and maturity that is demonstrated through a professional attitude toward clients and the public. The selected candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to work a flexible schedule which includes working overtime, weekends and holidays, and being on-call 24 hours a day for emergencies. Must live within reasonable driving distance of the Gladwin, Michigan area for timely response to call-outs.

Water Treatment Plant Operator
Seeking an Operator to join our team at the Antigo Water Treatment Plant, in Antigo, Wisconsin.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with water treatment plant operations; a current water license is strongly preferred. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including pump maintenance experience, is strongly preferred. Minimum high school level chemistry and/or biology coursework is required.
A successful candidate will have experience that demonstrates the ability to work independently, and interact effectively with co-workers, clients and the public.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, and be able to reach the Antigo Water Plant within 20 minutes. Ability to work weekends, holidays and availability for call-outs is required. Work schedule will include night shifts, and some of those night shifts will be weekends and holidays.
